The Comox Valley is the place people love to call home. It’s a place where outdoor activities are limitless and employment is robust between the service industry and government sectors. The Comox Valley is a smaller region on the East Coast of Vancouver Island, accessible by road from South Island communities such as Victoria, by BC Ferry from Powell River, and by air, float plane or regular air from Vancouver, Whistler, or Calgary.

The Comox Valley includes the City of Courtenay, the Town of Comox, the Village of Cumberland and outlier settlements of Royston, Union Bay, Fanny Bay, Black Creek and Merville. Denman and Hornby Islands are also considered part of the Comox Valley and are accessible by BC Ferry from the terminal at Buckley Bay.

Outdoor activities are abundant in the Comox Valley and range from day hiking in Strathcona Park, Paddle Boarding, Open Water Swimming, Ocean Diving, Golf, Skiing and Snowboarding to the most extreme multi-day backpacking trips to the Golden Hinde or Kayaking trips to Desolation Sound. Big animal boat viewing trips are also very popular for residents and tourists alike!

APS 2021 has been a challenging season.  If you thought APS 2020 was hard through the height of the COVID-19 shutdown, APS 2021 is now experiencing the ripple effects, the overwhelming roadblocks that Members are facing across the country.  I am here to help you navigate through an uncomfortable real estate market and relocation climate. You need to worry about yourself and your family and basically, just do you.  Well, let me be me and help you along the way. Let’s put our heads together and come up with a solution that drives down the stress and is acceptable for you and your Chain of Command.

The Village of Cumberland was originally named Union after the Union Coal Company that mined in the area during the late 1800’s.  The new townsite was laid out with lots for sale with principal streets and thoroughfares named after places in Cumberland, Great Britain.  These names still remain as Maryport, Windermere, Penrith, Derwent, Allen and Keswick.  Cumberland is a thriving community of all ages and is a destination for Mountain Biking with an extensive trail network throughout the hills as well as within the protected boundaries of the Cumberland Community Forest.
